for the last full day on hilton head island i decided to run the beach. the breeze was nice. the sun unkind. also unkind was my nike+ which quit on me twice, forcing me to re-start my run twice and dissecting my run into three. this throws off my average run, my total, and the number of runs completed. i'm forced to erase the two 1.5 mile runs and log only the 3 mile run. but you and i know the deal. 6 miles

santa barbara for mike and sandra's wedding!

morning surf session with mike and chris. less "surfing" (especially for me - this was only my second time on a board) and more paddling around in the water waiting for just a few waves to break. still, lots of fun to splash in the chilly pacific the morning of one surfer's wedding. also... dolphins!
